NEWS – Students completing the Keelboat Dayskipper course receive 3 months Club Membership
Challenging the Keelboat Day Skipper, students will be trained in seamanship, boat handling skills and navigation for moderate conditions.
On successful completion students should be competent to skipper, with crew, a smaller sailing vessel for short trips, in daylight hours.
This course provides the entry level training needed if you have recently purchased a boat or are looking to build your skills for day sailing in local waters.
It is preferred you have some crew level experience before taking this program but is not essential.
This is a practical course with over 35hrs of training. You will be recommended a supporting manual to purchase before your course starts, cost $35.
