Challenging the CYA Basic Cruising course, students will be trained in seamanship, boat handling skills and navigation for moderate conditions.
On successful completion of both the practical and theory modules students will be certified to skipper, with crew, a sailing vessel in daylight hours.
Students applying must have completed the CYA Basic Crewing, or have equivalent experience. No experience is necessary when completing this course as part of a combined Basic Crewing/Dayskipper either as the day program or a Cruise and Learn
