The CYA Advanced Cruising program is both challenging and rewarding. It will enable you to improve your present sailing and navigation skills while preparing to sail safely and confidently by day and night in demanding coastal conditions.
This certificate requires completion of the Basic and Intermediate Cruising Standard, the Coastal Navigation Standard (or equivalent) and to have practical experience as a skipper of a vessel for at least two seasons.
Students looking to experience this course as a milebuilding trip are welcome to join us. Progression at every level of sailing is about your time on the water in varied conditions and locations, we encourage you to gain miles and knowledge between courses at all levels.
